STAY by Inimitable extends the Inimitable world into a place to gather, get ready and celebrate, set on the edge of the Cradle of Humankind outside Johannesburg. It gave Eleni and John's wedding a rare thing: room to breathe, from the slow morning to the last dance, all in one considered, design-led place.
We filmed the whole arc of the day the way we always do, unobtrusively and editorially, letting the estate hold the story. Our job was to catch the real moments and stay out of the way while they happened, the quiet before, the joy of the ceremony, the warmth of a celebration that never had to rush.
It was edited by hand over the weeks that followed, cut so that it still feels exactly like the day it was.
