Editorial Wedding Videographer in Tuscany

Editorial wedding films across Tuscany - the Val d'Orcia, Chianti, Siena and the hills above Florence.

CSCINASTAGESTUDIOS

Tuscany does not hurry, and neither do we. The light here arrives slowly and leaves reluctantly, laying itself across cypress avenues and ochre farmhouses in a way that has drawn painters for centuries. CinaStage travels to Tuscany for couples who want their wedding held in that same unhurried register. We film in a language drawn from Italian neorealism and editorial portraiture, restrained and luminous, attentive to the quiet exchanges most cameras walk past. A Tuscan wedding is as much about the pause between moments as the moments themselves, and that is where we choose to point the lens.

Where We Film

Around Tuscany

Val d'Orcia

The UNESCO valley of lone cypresses, rolling wheat and stone hamlets, where golden hour behaves like a set piece. We film here for couples who want the landscape itself to carry the film's emotional weight.

Chianti

Vineyard estates and cellar dinners strung between Florence and Siena, all warm stone and long tables under the vines. The region lends a wedding film its texture: candlelight, terracotta and the deep red of the wine that made the hills famous.

Siena

Medieval brick, the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and chapels that hold sound like memory. Siena gives a film architecture and gravity, a sense of vows spoken inside something much older than the day.

San Gimignano

The town of towers rising from the vineyards, its silhouette unmistakable at dusk. We are available for celebrations here where the medieval skyline becomes a natural backdrop to the portraiture.

The Florence Hills

Renaissance villas and formal gardens on the slopes above the city, cypress-lined and quietly grand. The setting lends itself to an editorial restraint, sculpture and symmetry answering the emotion of the day.

Our Approach

A wedding film in Tuscany is not a wedding film that happens to have hills behind it. The geography changes the grammar. The pacing of the light, the distances between a farmhouse and its chapel, the way an afternoon dissolves into a long golden dusk, all of it asks for patience rather than coverage. We shoot fewer, longer, more deliberate frames and let the landscape breathe between them. The result is closer to a short film than a highlight reel: a piece with its own weather and its own silence, in which the two of you are never lost to the scenery but never separate from it either.

Why CinaStage

Destination Weddings in Tuscany

01

Thirteen years of filmmaking behind every wedding, so the camera is an instinct rather than a distraction on the day.

02

Work recognised in People, Bride and Carats & Cakes, an editorial eye applied to a place that rewards restraint.

03

A small, deliberate team that travels light and reads a room quietly, at home moving between a Chianti cellar and a hilltop ceremony.

04

Full 4K capture with native audio and hand-graded post over eight to twelve weeks, so the Tuscan light is held rather than corrected.

05

A limited number of destination weddings each year, which means the calendar, the planning and the attention are genuinely yours.

The Experience

What to Expect

01

Pre-Wedding Planning

We begin with a long conversation about the two of you and the shape of the day, then map the film to your venue and its light. If your celebration spans a Chianti estate dinner and a hilltop ceremony, we plan the movement between them in advance, coordinate with your planner and photographer, and arrive knowing the ground before the first frame.

02

On the Day

We work unobtrusively, a small team that stays out of the way and lets the day unfold at its own Tuscan pace. We follow the light rather than a rigid shot list, capturing native audio throughout, so the film carries the sound of the place as much as its look: cicadas, laughter, the clink of glasses under the vines.

03

The Final Film

Over eight to twelve weeks we hand-grade the footage and cut a film that feels like Tuscany remembered rather than documented. You receive a cinematic piece with native sound and a considered edit, delivered in 4K, made to be watched years from now without dating.

Frequently Asked

Filming Weddings in Tuscany

Are you based in Tuscany?

No. CinaStage is based in South Africa and we travel to Tuscany for destination weddings. Travelling well is part of what we do: a small team, careful logistics and enough time on the ground to know your venue before the day begins.

Which Tuscan venues do you film at?

We are available across the region, from Val d'Orcia farmhouses and Chianti wine estates to villas in the hills above Florence and chapels around Siena. We do not claim past weddings at specific named estates; instead we plan carefully around whichever venue you choose and its particular light.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can. We take a limited number of destination weddings each year, and Tuscan dates in late spring and early autumn are requested well ahead. Twelve to eighteen months is comfortable, though it is always worth asking about a shorter timeline.

Will you work with our photographer?

Yes, gladly. We are used to sharing a day with a photography team and coordinate movement and framing in advance so neither craft gets in the other's way. A good film and a good set of photographs should feel like they came from the same day, told two ways.
