Napa Valley Wedding Videographer & Photographer
Golden light on the vines, and a love written in long, unhurried takes.
Napa Valley moves at the pace of the harvest: mustard flowers in the low rows, oak barrels breathing in cellar shade, the hush of dusk settling gold over the hills. There is a certain light here in the last hour of the day, warm and slow, that flatters a vineyard the way candlelight flatters a face. Long tables under strung bulbs, a first dance framed by cypress, the clink of estate glasses carried on the evening air. We film it the way it feels to stand inside it, patient and close and unhurried. CinaStage is based in South Africa, and we travel to Napa Valley for a small number of weddings each year.
Where We Film
Around Napa Valley
Yountville
A village of Michelin kitchens and manicured courtyards, where an intimate ceremony can unfold between rows of old vines and a garden lunch feels like the whole of the day.
St. Helena
Grand estate wineries and stone cellars line the valley floor here, offering the kind of architectural grandeur and long golden avenues that hold beautifully on film.
Calistoga
At the northern end of the valley, warmer light and open hillsides give way to rustic barns and hot-spring quiet, a softer and more elemental setting for a celebration.
Sonoma Vineyards
Just over the ridge, Sonoma trades polish for pastoral ease: redwoods, working ranches and vineyard estates where a wedding breathes with the landscape.
Private Wine-Country Estates
Some of the valley's most memorable weddings happen behind gates, on family estates and hillside villas where the setting is yours alone for the day and the light is entirely your own.

Our Approach
We shoot weddings the way an editorial photographer shoots a story, watching for the true moment rather than staging a performance of it. Napa asks for restraint: let the land and the light do the work, and stay close enough to catch the things that were never meant for a camera. The result is a film that feels less like a record and more like a memory you can return to.
Why CinaStage
Destination Weddings in Napa Valley
Thirteen years photographing and filming weddings, with the calm and judgement that only comes from having shot hundreds of them.
Editorial recognition in publications including People, Bride, and Carats & Cakes.
A small, deliberate team that travels light and works quietly, so a distant vineyard feels no different to us than a wedding at home.
Full 4K capture, native in-room audio, and every frame hand-graded in post, delivered in eight to twelve weeks.
We take only a limited number of destination weddings each year, so the couples we travel for get our whole attention.
The Experience
What to Expect
01
Pre-Wedding Planning
We start with a conversation, not a questionnaire. We learn the shape of your day, the people who matter, and the feeling you want to keep, then we build a quiet plan around it and coordinate with your planner and venue in the run-up so nothing is left to chance.
02
On the Day
We work like guests who happen to have cameras: present, unobtrusive, and always watching for the real thing. You will barely notice us, which is the point. We move with the light and the moment rather than interrupting it.
03
The Final Film
In the weeks after, every frame is hand-graded and cut to native audio, so your voices and vows carry the film. You receive a cinematic 4K wedding film and a full gallery, delivered within eight to twelve weeks.
Frequently Asked
Filming Weddings in Napa Valley
Are you based in Napa Valley?
No. CinaStage is a South African studio, and we travel to Napa Valley for a small number of weddings each year. Distance changes nothing about how we work, and we handle our own travel and logistics so your day is never our concern to solve.
How many weddings do you take in wine country each year?
Only a few. We keep our destination calendar deliberately small so that every couple we travel for gets our full focus, from the first planning call to the final delivered film.
Do you charge extra for travel to California?
Travel is quoted transparently as part of your proposal, with flights, accommodation and any local logistics laid out clearly. There are no surprises, and nothing is marked up.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. Peak-season Napa dates and our own limited destination slots both go quickly, so we recommend reaching out as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.
