Destination Wedding Films
Wedding Videographer in Zimbabwe
Wedding films from the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls to the granite hills of Matobo.
Zimbabwe holds some of the most cinematic country in southern Africa: the thunder of Victoria Falls, the great teak forests and elephant herds of Hwange, and the balancing granite of the Matobo Hills where the light turns the rock to gold at dusk. CinaStage travels to Zimbabwe for couples who want that scale and stillness inside their film. We are based in South Africa, a short hop south, so we arrive as neighbours who know the light and the logistics. We film quietly and patiently, watching for the true moment, and let the country's enormous, unhurried landscapes carry the feeling of the day.
Where We Film
Around Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls
The Zimbabwean side looks straight into the falls, and a ceremony, a rainforest portrait or a sundowner on the Zambezi borrows all of that mist-and-gold-hour drama for the film.
Hwange National Park
Zimbabwe's greatest wildlife park, teak woodland and waterholes crowded with elephant at dusk. A safari wedding here is filmed against copper light and the largest herds in the region.
Matobo Hills
Ancient balancing granite and rock-art caves under vast skies, where sundown turns the whole landscape amber. A setting that gives a wedding film gravity and a sense of something far older than the day.

Our Approach
A wedding film in Zimbabwe is shaped by the falls, the bush and the granite as much as by the two of you. The land rewards patience above all: you wait for the light, the elephant, the gust that lifts a veil. We shoot fewer, longer, more deliberate frames and stay close enough to catch what was never meant for a camera, so the film feels less like a record and more like a memory you can return to.

A small, deliberate team that travels light and works quietly, at ease in remote lodges and off-grid camps where a larger crew would not fit.

The Experience
What to Expect
01
Pre-Wedding Planning
We start with a long conversation about the two of you and the shape of the day, then build a quiet plan around your venue and its light, working through lodge access, transfers and the movement between the falls, the bush and your ceremony well before we arrive.
02
On the Day
We work like guests who happen to have cameras: present, unobtrusive and always watching for the real thing. In the bush that means patience, reading the light and the wildlife, and moving with the moment rather than interrupting it.
03
The Final Film
In the weeks after, every frame is hand-graded and cut to native audio, so your voices and vows carry the film. You receive a cinematic 4K wedding film and a full gallery, delivered within eight to twelve weeks.
Frequently Asked
Filming Weddings in Zimbabwe
Are you based in Zimbabwe?
No. CinaStage is based in South Africa and we travel to Zimbabwe for destination weddings. Being on the continent, a short flight away, means shorter travel, local knowledge and proper planning for falls-side and bush venues.
Do you film at Victoria Falls and on safari?
Yes. Victoria Falls, Hwange and the Matobo Hills are among our favourite settings, and we are available for ceremonies, safari celebrations and portraits across them. We do not claim past weddings at specific named venues; instead we plan carefully around whichever you choose and its particular light.
Do you handle travel and logistics for remote lodges?
Yes. We manage our own flights, transfers and bush-camp logistics and coordinate with your lodge or planner on access and timing. Being based on the continent, we know how these journeys work and plan for them properly.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. We take only a limited number of destination weddings each year, and the best falls-side and safari lodges book out well ahead, so reach out as soon as your date and location are confirmed.
