Africa is a wedding on a scale nowhere else can offer: dust turned gold at sundown over the Mara, the thunder of Victoria Falls carried on the wind, dhow sails leaning across a Zanzibar tide. The light here is enormous and unhurried, the silences deeper, the colour richer. A vow spoken as elephants cross the floodplain, a first dance under a sky spilling stars, a couple small against a horizon that runs on forever. We film it the way the continent feels to stand inside it, vast and intimate at once. CinaStage is based in South Africa, on the continent itself, which means we travel to these weddings as neighbours rather than as visitors from the far side of the world.

We shoot weddings the way an editorial photographer shoots a story, watching for the true moment rather than staging a performance of it. Africa rewards patience above all: you wait for the light, the animal, the gust that lifts a veil, and you stay close enough to catch what was never meant for a camera. The result is a film that feels less like a record and more like a memory you can return to.

Pre-Wedding Planning
We start with a conversation, not a questionnaire. We learn the shape of your day, the people who matter, and the feeling you want to keep, then we build a quiet plan around it, working through lodge access, light and logistics well before we ever arrive.

On the Day
We work like guests who happen to have cameras: present, unobtrusive, and always watching for the real thing. In the bush that means patience, reading the light and the wildlife, and moving with the moment rather than interrupting it.

The Final Film
In the weeks after, every frame is hand-graded and cut to native audio, so your voices and vows carry the film. You receive a cinematic 4K wedding film and a full gallery, delivered within eight to twelve weeks.

Filming Weddings in Africa
Do you film safari weddings?
Yes. Safari and bush weddings are among our favourite work. We are used to shooting in remote camps and game reserves, reading the light and the wildlife, and travelling light enough to move easily through the day.
Which African countries do you travel to?
We are available across the continent, including Zambia, Tanzania and Zanzibar, Kenya, Mozambique, Botswana, Morocco, and of course throughout South Africa. If your destination is not listed, ask us, we very likely travel there.
Do you handle travel and logistics for remote lodges?
Yes. We manage our own flights, transfers and bush-camp logistics, and coordinate with your lodge or planner on access and timing. Being based on the continent, we know how these journeys work and plan for them properly.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. We take only a limited number of destination weddings each year, and the best lodges and reserves book out well ahead, so we recommend reaching out as soon as your date and location are confirmed.
